The Hays County Dispute Resolution Center (DRC) is a non-profit organization which facilitates problem-solving for individuals and
organizations in Hays County, Texas by providing, promoting, and teaching effective methods of conflict resolution through mediation.
All parties involved in the dispute will have a chance to talk about their concerns in a controlled environment. The mediator
will help them see the issues clearly, come up with options for a solution, negotiate effectively, and help the parties reach their
own agreement if they choose to do so.
Mediation is a process in which an impartial person facilitates communication between parties to promote reconciliation, settlement,
or understanding among them, without imposing the mediator’s own judgment on the issues.
